Where are you born and when?
I am born in Boulogne Billancourt, France the 23rd of February 1975
Where do you live?
I live in Antibes, in the south of France
Did you go to a school or are you a self-taught?
self taught, there are plenty of ressources on internet to learn what you need to know...
Do you make photography as a living?
No, just for art, but if one day I can live of this I’ll be very happy.
What do you like in photography, what is your motivation?
I don’t know if I love photography, In love what I can do with it. I’m not a plastic artist, so photography is the way to realize my artistic imagination.
What do you want to express or arouse in those who watch your images?
My main interest is to create aesthetical images and also that poeple try to understand what they are seeing. But know I think that I could use my images to carry messages, either with words or pictures projected on bodies.
What are your preferred moment(s) in the creation process?
I love everything, except the end of editing, sometimes a few weeks after the shooting...
There is a quite long duration in my photographic process. Watching pictures, looking for potential patterns to project, get inspiration, then create them.
The second step is the shooting, with the model and about 50-100 patterns to choose, during half a day.
I try to select 50-100 photos from the shooting and edit them. So basically, it’s about a month between shootings. If it was my real job, I could improve a lot my productivity...

I really love the look of this one, colors, stripes, pose. It’s the kind of simple images that I was aiming to do at the beginning.

My first real model, suggesting interesting poses and with a great ability to propose intersting expressions.

My only shooting with two girl models for the moment, it really changes the result as the bodies don’t have the same shape and one is blurred.
What equipment and/or techniques do you use?
It is not a matter of brands/lenses, it is mostly about analog/digital, preferred light (natural/flash), how much post-production, etc.
I use digital cameras, a computer and a videoprojector in a very dark room.
How and why your work as changed since you started?
First I tried to project everything, photos, drawings, paintings, nature, cities, clothes, CGI...
Know I try to have a more thematic approach. and I start to fell that I should also include questions in my pics.
What do you think about the fact that nowadays photography is mostly enjoyed on the Internet?
I don’t care, people consume as they want. It’s by the way a great way to show your work. But nothing replaces really a nice huge print...
Why did you decide to join the nudeartzine project?
It’s an interesting concept, a good way also to have a bit more of visibility but I was a bit reticent as it’s quite new.
Would you have an insight or advice to give to whomever is watching your work and wants to learn photography?
Technic is only a tool to convert your thoughts in pictures, it’s not a goal.
What are your plans in the future?
I don’t like plans so much. I try to structure a little bit more my work to expose in a year or two.
